The BMDCF is the new home of the Angel Pin Program. Angel Pins are sent unsolicited to owners who have lost their BMDs as a remembrance of their family member and the Berner community's support in their time of sorrow. A group of dedicated volunteers monitor Berner-Garde for dogs that are reported to have passed, hand paint the pins and write a note of condolence to help provide comfort to grieving owners. If you have ever received an Angel Pin, you know the solace this gesture can bring at a difficult time.
